We are hiring Bookkeepers with United States Experience! The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience with QuickBooks Online Proficiency in US environments, B2+ English proficiency, exceptional accuracy, and a strong eye for detail in all financial data entry. The shift is Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm EST (4pm - 1am KEN TIME).

Recording daily financial transactions, including debits and credits. Maintaining and updating the general ledger. Reconciling bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy. Processing invoices, payments, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Processing payroll and handling tax forms and payments. Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements. Monitoring budget variances and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Strong data entry skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic math skills for checking calculations. Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and clients. Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Education: A high school diploma is often the minimum requirement. An associate's degree in accounting or finance is preferred and can be a significant advantage. Experience: Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role is often required. Certifications: Bookkeeping certifications, such as from the Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB), are beneficial.
