Marketing Executive – Digital & Brand Communications

The Marketing Executive will work closely with the management, sales, and supplier teams to ensure consistent, effective marketing execution that drives awareness, engagement, and sales growth.

Job Description

Brand & Marketing Coordination

  • Implement the company’s marketing calendar — ensuring timely rollout of seasonal campaigns, field events, promotions, and exhibitions.
  • Support the creation and rollout of product launch campaigns and dealer activations.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials (digital, print, and in-store).
  • Develop and update marketing collateral (brochures, posters, signage, banners, branded merchandise).

Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital campaigns (social media, email marketing, SEO, Google Ads).
  • Update and optimize website content, product pages, and blog articles.
  • Generate and analyze monthly marketing performance reports (traffic, engagement, conversions).
  • Track campaign budgets and recommend improvements based on data insights.

Social Media Management & Content Creation

  • Develop engaging social media calendars and content that resonate with farmers, stockists, and partners.
  • Create and manage visual and written content (posts, stories, reels, infographics, short videos).
  • Engage actively with followers, responding to comments, inquiries, and feedback promptly.
  • Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth.

Traditional Marketing & Events

  • Coordinate farmer field days, trade fairs, product demos, and other brand activation events.
  • Support the logistics and branding setup for field activities and exhibitions.
  • Liaise with branches and sales teams to identify marketing needs at the grassroots level.
  • Manage vendor relationships for printing, photography, and event materials.

Internal & Partner Communication

  • Collaborate with suppliers on co-branding, joint promotions, and advertising initiatives.
  • Prepare marketing briefs and reports for management and partners.
  • Support internal communications such as newsletters, campaign summaries, and staff updates.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in marketing, with hands-on exposure to both digital and field marketing.
  • Proficiency in digital tools: social media management platforms, Canva/Adobe tools, Google Analytics, and email marketing.
  • Excellent communication and content creation skills in English and Swahili.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Kenya’s agricultural sector and distribution market is a strong advantage.
