In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our sales process—ensuring smooth coordination between customers, sales, operations, and documentation teams. You’ll help maintain customer satisfaction, prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and ensure efficient handling of all client requests across both sea and air freight services.
1. Customer & Internal Coordination Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, quotations, and shipment updates. Coordinate with internal teams (operations, documentation, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery. Communicate proactively with clients regarding rates, shipment status, and documentation needs. Maintain exceptional customer service standards at all times. 2. Sales Support & Follow-Up Assist sales executives with preparing proposals, presentations, and quotations. Follow up on quotations and leads to help convert opportunities into confirmed bookings. Keep CRM/sales systems updated with accurate client interaction records. Support key accounts with rate submissions and shipping documentation. 3. Pricing & Quotation Management Source competitive rates from shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents. Prepare and issue import/export quotations (Sea & Air) accurately and on time. Track rate validity and communicate any changes in tariffs or surcharges to the sales team. 4. Reporting & Data Management Maintain customer databases, rate sheets, and sales performance reports. Generate regular MIS reports (enquiries vs. conversions, lost business analysis, etc.). Track shipment volumes and client performance to support monthly sales reviews. 5. Operational & Administrative Support Coordinate with operations to ensure bookings meet client requirements. Share accurate documentation and billing details with relevant departments. Support resolution of service issues or delays in collaboration with operations and customer service. Schedule client meetings, manage correspondence, and maintain client files.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools. Good understanding of international trade, Incoterms, and shipping documentation. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-up
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
