Academic qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology (BBIT),Information Technology or equivalent degree from a recognized university

Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or possess any of the following Certifications; Cisco Certified Network Professional; Certified Data Centre Professional; Red Hat/Unix/Linux Certified Systems Administrator, Database Administrator certifications.

Previous relevant work experience required.

5 years of service or similar experience in a comparable position in a reputable organization

This position is responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting complex
operating and server-based systems, tracking and maintaining technology systems ensuring that IT systems and services are available and delivered consistently, reliably, and effectively.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties / Tasks. Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities
• Develops Service Management and IT Security policies standards and ensures compliance as appropriate.
• Advices on the design of OCOBs infrastructure components based on information regarding the business context and standards
• Ensures documentation of systems configuration and procedures to enhance knowledge-sharing and transfer.
• Drafts service level agreements and operational guidelines for internal and external service providers.
• Produces guidelines for county offices based on OCOB standards and industry best practices.
• Designs ICT activities and workflow tools required for IT services management, maintenance, monitoring and performance measurement.
• Evaluates business processes and provides advice on applicable solutions’ Develops functional specifications, standards, and requirements for hardware and software purchase.

Candidates shortlisted for interviews for the above positions will be required to submit the following;
• Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
• Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
