JOB DETAILS:

Key responsibilities:
• Truck Arrivals at the Airport:
• To supervise the offloading of trucks on arrival at various agents on arrival at the airport.
• To ensure that the actual box counts received tally with the delivery notes and in case of discrepancies to immediately report to the HOD.
• To ensure temperature readings of the products are taken on arrival of the truck and be forwarded to the HOD for onward transmission.
• To ensure that boxes being offloaded are properly handled by handling agent’s in order to guarantee safety of the products.
• Cargo Weights:
• To ensure that cargo is weighed and all weight dockets counter signed before forwarding to Head office.
• KEPHIS INSPECTION:
• Ensure the products are presented to the KEPHIS inspection in good time for inspection
• Ensure the inspection samples are kept safely in the cold room and any expired sample boxes are forwarded to Head Office for disposal
• Report to the HOD Airport Logistics any cases of product rejections by the KEPHIS inspectors for immediate follow up with the concerned officials
