Job Summary:

We are looking for a CPA with 2-5 years of experience to manage the accounting for our restaurant and rental property divisions. You will be key to keeping our financial records accurate, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant Accounting:

• Manage all bookkeeping for restaurant operations.
• Reconcile daily sales and POS system data.
• Handle payables and receivables for restaurant vendors.
• Track inventory costs and assist with cost control.
• Help with budgeting and financial forecasting.

Rental Property Accounting:

• Maintain financial records for our rental properties.
• Prepare monthly rent rolls and follow up on collections.
• Process accounting for leases, deposits, and rent changes.
• Manage property-related vendor payments and expenses.
• Reconcile property bank accounts.

General Accounting:

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing.
• Help prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with tax rules and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA certification.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and strong MS Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in the hospitality or property management industries.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS or property management software.
• A proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
