Job Description:
Oversee and manage daily activities of the Recycling staff including mixed waste sorting, plastic sorting, glass sorting, pig food sorting, and baling.
Staff planning and managing attendance.
Implement quality control measures to ensure sorted materials meet company and regulatory standards.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Monitor and optimize sorting processes to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Coordinate the scheduling and utilization of forklifts to support recycling operations.
Maintain accurate records of sorted materials, equipment usage, and staff performance.
Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Prepare and submit weekly reports on performance and other OKR metrics.
Post petty cash requests and follow up on approval/payment.
Manage inventory levels of materials and coordinate with the logistics team for timely removal and transport.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment
Prepare and submit regular reports on plant operations, including productivity, efficiency, and OEE metrics.
Implement process control systems.
Work with the engineering team for new equipment design and installation.
Data Analysis and Reporting (Use data for decision-making and process enhancements.)
Do market research about possibilities with existing and new machinery
Come up with new ideas about recycling untapped material flows within the company and market
Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma/degree in Mechanical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, processing set up
