The Kajiado County Assembly is established under Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010. The Mandate of the County Assembly is to Legislate Oversight and Represent. The County Assembly Service Board invites applications from suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy above;
Human Resource Officer II CASB 10-1 POSITION
Job Purpose
Being responsible to the Human Resource Officer the Human Resource Officer ll assists in the implementation of Human Resource functions in accordance with the existing Human Resource policies and regulations to support the core mandate of County Assemblies which is effective representation legislation and oversight. .
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties Provided Clerical and administrative support to Human Resources Executives
• Compile and update employee records and soft copies
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (starting recruitment training, grievances, performance relations Coordinate HR projects meetings training. Surveys etc) and take minutes
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues rules, and regulations
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data absences, bonus, leaves, etc Will Compiling data and rating of letters
• Sorting filing and dispatching letters
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems:
• Assist in developing training and development programs
• Maintenance of an efficient filing system
• Be responsible for leaving computation and documentation and
• Be the entry contact for the grievance handling process.

Requirements for Appointment
• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management. Records Management Business Administration Management or its approved equivalent from a recognized institution:
• Mean scale C- with at least a C+ in English and Kiswahili
• Proficiency in computer applications
Professional Qualifications
• Management course from a recognized institution lasting not less than four weeks:
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution
• Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management of Kenya (IHFM-K); and
• Shown merit and ability as demonstrated in work performance and results
