ACTED is a non-governmental organization whose vocation is to support vulnerable populations worldwide and to accompany them in building a better future. ACTED was created in 1993, is governed by the French law and has its headquarters in Paris, France.
Reporting to the ACTED's Director in charge of Horn of Africa and functionally to the Director of Programs at HO. ACTED is looking for experienced self-drivers and self-oriented professionals to fill the following position: Regional Programmes and Fundraising Coordinator. .

Under the authority of the Country Director, her/his specific duties will include:
• Lead in de development of fundraising Strategies, formulate fund mobilization procedures and oversee all funding activities within the region. Contribute actively in identifying or now donor buses direct and coordinate solicitation of funds
• Facilitate regional collaboration and Integration, convening, sharing learning among fundraisers promote replication of best practices, products and innovations
• Liaise with ACTED's funding partners and Contribute actively to ACTEDS positioning within the region.
• Maintain active and regular working relationships with other NGOS, UN Agencies, clusters, Consortia and academia
• Transform and align global, regional and local fundraising and integrate with other ACTED's Fundraising Departments
• Coordinate ACTED'S activities and define coherent implementation modalities, tools and methodologies Promote harmonization of approach and methodologies across the different sectors and projects by day loping and monitoring use of effective tools well as creating opportunities for prince sharing and learning
• Coordinate and collaborate with other stakeholders by cultivating good relations with key humanitarian actors - local and regional
• Including government authorities and non-state actors, through regular attendance technical and lateral meetings
• Ensure the overall success of the projects, and seeing that deliverables arrive on time, on scope, on budget, within acceptable quality levels and in line with donor requirements and based on beneficiary needs

Requested Profile
• Experienced, strategic and result oriented loader with significant management experience and proven ability to motivate and lead team
• 10 years of international fundraising experience with demonstrated success working across diverse fields including individual.
• Major donor and legacy Fundraising
• Demonstrated project coordination experiences
• Master level education in a relevant field such as international Relations or Development
• At least 5-10 years in high level project management (management, planning staff development and training skills in emergency and or development programmes regionally or internationally
• Demonstrate communication and organizational skills:
• Willingness to travel and ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing security environments
• Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office
• Advanced proficiency in written and woken French and English is a mandatory
