JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
Support risk-based financial, operations, and branch audits to evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance. Provide independent assurance and follow up on audit recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in risk-based audit planning.
- Execute audits, conduct routine and ad-hoc reviews.
- Perform revenue assurance audits.
- Prepare audit reports for Board Audit Committee.
- Communicate results and monitor implementation of recommendations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulators.
Key Performance Indicators:
Timely audit completion, high-quality reports, revenue assurance, data analysis, continuous improvement, stakeholder satisfaction.
Academic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or similar professional certification.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in auditing, preferably in financial services.
Competencies & Skills:
Banking knowledge, product knowledge, financial acumen, customer engagement.
Technical: auditing practices, risk assessment, internal controls, data interpretation, knowledge of CBK guidelines, reporting procedures.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: bachelor degree
