Job Summary
The Position
Lori is seeking a highly energetic, hands-on Head of Sales - East Africa, who will drive the region’s growth, while executing on the company’s global sales strategy. You will be required to scale a salesforce across cargo and transport, including customer acquisition and end-to-end account management. You will develop processes and drive adherence, allowing for scalability at a rapidly growing start up. You will need to identify and escalate critical blockers for growth, to the GM, CEO and global leadership team to debottleneck. An analytical mindset, process orientation, speed and communication are vital. The role requires the ability to transition between in-the-weeds execution and data-driven systems/structure building. .
Job Responsibilities:
• Execute on Lori’s global sales strategy
• Build and manage the Cargo and Transport teams within the region
• Develop and track KPIs across the sales funnel
• Implement and enforce systems to optimize processes and resources
• Fully own and solve day-to-day complexities
• Lead timely escalations and interventions to establish and expand relationships in the region
• Coordinate with marketing for in-region sales enablement material and activities
