JOB DETAILS:
Our client, a new ultra modern Mixed High school situated in Nairobi, opens its doors in January 2020. This brings to the education sector an exciting opportunity for a secondary school teacher to be a part of a network of schools that is developing generations of innovators and leaders who will make a mark in this country and beyond. .

  Job Responsibilities:
• Playing a critical role in delivering exceptional learning experience for students
• Preparing schemes of work in accordance with the syllabus
• Ensuring that teaching imparted is appropriate to the needs and in conformity with the syllabus
• Using a variety of teaching methods to meet the learning needs of the students Accountable for students' mastery of academic standards.
• Creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintain an organized and focused learning environment.
• Participating in setting and marking internal examinations
• Assessing and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback on their performance
• Teaching in any of the following subject areas: English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, History & Government, C.R.E., Agriculture, Home Science, Computer Studies, French, Music, Business Studies and Physical Education

  Job Qualifications:
• Relevant Degree in Education
• A minimum of five (5) years proven experience in teaching KCSE curriculum
• Teaching experience in a mixed school is an added advantage
• TSC Certification
• A good communicator
