Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is a Kenyan university with a strong focus on agriculture, technology, and engineering. Founded in 1981, it began as a middle-level college before becoming the fifth national university in Kenya in 1988. JKUAT is located in Juja, about 36 kilometers northeast of Nairobi.
