Information and Communication Technology Authority (Kenya)
The Information and Communication Technology Authority (ICT Authority) in Kenya is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology. Established in August 2013, the ICT Authority is responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of ICT functions across the government. Its mandate includes promoting the use of technology to enhance public service delivery, advancing e-Government initiatives, supporting ICT policy development, and overseeing digital infrastructure projects. It also oversees the development and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, manages the Kenya National Spatial Data Initiative, and implements and manages the Digital Economy & Infrastructure Executive.
