Main purpose of the position:
The custodian and key strategic source for financial management and financial decision making in the business.
Provide financial advice and support to enable sound business decisions. This includes ensuring that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations as well as group guidelines.

Key responsibilities:
• Overall responsible of managing the Finance Team.
• Monthly Management reporting with detailed analysis of sales and profit along with comparison with prior Rolling Estimate, Annual Business Plan and Previous Year.
• Manage the company’s operations working capital and capital expenditure.
• Ensure compliance of all applicable statutory and legal requirements; payment of PAYE/WHT & filing of PAYE / WHT returns - Monthly / Quarterly / Annual; timely filing of the company's annual tax returns.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, this includes planning and managing internal/statutory/ external audits.
• Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
• Liaise with and provide support to HOD’s regarding departmental budgets, expenditures and financial reporting, this includes monitoring the budget implementation and advice on reallocation of funds when/where necessary.
• Ensure that all company assets records are well maintained in accordance with the accounting standards.
• Monitor depreciation of company assets to ensure that the provisions are made in accordance with the accounting standards.
• Plan, direct, and co-ordinate risk and insurance programs of establishments to control risks and losses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working within the global IT team and with service partners, lead successful implementations of BI’s core banking applications – Temenos R20 banking system with Financial Crime Mitigation, data analytics and reporting system, financial consolidation platform, and digital financial services solutions - at Country offices by (1) providing technical direction in all migration to the BIHBV Temenos Model Bank (2) working with country IT managers to ensure the establishment of published standards, policies, and procedures for maintaining the integrity of the Model Bank
• Ensure effective technical and user support for core application– system maintenance, product specification and documentation of system changes, development of management reports, management of an efficient test environment
• Ensure security of business data within core applications
• Coordinate end-user training for core applications with IT Service Manager and country IT managers
• Lead the implementation and testing procedures to ensure that newly released software produce the expected results for the business operations.
• Apply strict change control measures in any customizations required by the country offices.

The Assistant Project Development Manager- Properties will be responsible for dentifying and understand the unique needs of various proprietors and future clients. Overall Job Purpose
The Brand Manager will be responsible for facilitating brand activation through monitoring and evaluation so as to deliver the brand strategy.

Principle Accountabilities
• Formulating and assisting in brand activation and maintenance interventions.
• Facilitate development of branding material as well as advertising campaigns.
• Monitor and evaluate the brand against set benchmarks and industry best practice to deliver optimal value addition to the business
• Forecast and ensure that the brand is in tandem with the business strategy to enhance HFDI’s business and brand equity.
• Preparation and presentation of relevant reports for management decision making.
• Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and develop targeted consumers insights
• Take brand ownership and provide communication strategies that bring the brand strategy to life
• Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
• Develop briefs that drive creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”
• Monitor and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Monitor marketing, PR and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
