Options is seeking a Principal Consultant to provide technical and strategic support on health systems financing across Options’ programmes. You will contribute to delivery of Options’ Strategy through technical leadership of proposals and external engagement.

Responsibilities:
• The Principal Consultant - Health Systems Financing will provide technical support on health financing and systems strengthening across Options’ portfolio of programmes in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
• You will be able to appreciate the complexities of and dynamic interactions within health systems including the political context in which they function. Through a combination of backstopping support to programme teams and direct technical delivery, you will support the design, implementation and monitoring of health financing approaches to support achievement of universal health coverage.

Scope Of Work
Working closely with the Fairtrade Working Group, the Project Manager will:

Before the Events
• Master Plan/Run of Show: design the master plan detailing the virtual and physical aspects for each session and including contingency plans;
• Judging panel: Guide in formation and nomination of judging panels, guidelines etc.
• Communication Packs: Support development of info packs for all participants; support information sharing for all official and non-official events; guide development of sponsorship kit, logistics notes, guest packages etc.
• Service providers: Support identification and engagement with relevant service providers;
• Working Group Support: Support the steering committee monitor progress of the internal working committees handling the various aspects of all activities.

Travel Consultant
Some of the skills you’ll bring with you are:
• Minimum 3 years of travel industry experience in a Reservation, Sales roles with proven experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus a good sense of customer service
• Extensive product knowledge for African destinations and travel product development
• Personal and/or professional travel experience and rich knowledge of African wildlife, Culture, Art
• A Driver’s License is a bonus but not a must.
• Additional foreign language expertise also a bonus
Your day will vary, but some of the tasks you’ll take the lead on are:
• Maximizing and growing sales, facilitating inbound/outbound sales calls/chats and web inquiries, tracking, and follow-up with sales leads
• Provide exceptional customer service by developing strong relationships to ensure Bobu Africa is at front-of-mind for potential future travel plans
• Building your product knowledge of African destinations and products to develop quality itineraries
• Working collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth client experience and handling complaints/conflict situations when they arise
