KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Prepare and maintain routine reports to support day-to-day business operations.
• Produce and track key performance indicators for various departments
• Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Ensure accuracy of data used for reporting & analytical work
• Liaise with various departments to fully understand business processes and their data requirements
• Test new system features to ensure data is being correctly captured
• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations

DELIVERY
• Analytical Thinking: Given a clearly scoped data/analytics question and with guidance, able to identify patterns and trends in the data using standard analytics and statistical methods. Able to interpret and share findings with colleagues.
• Data Processing
• Executing SQL to extract data and analyzing that data using tools like Excel, Looker
• Knowledge of Data Analysis tools – Advanced excel skills and Working knowledge of SQL Queries

Essential Functions
• Provides support and follow-up to targeted cases for the Graduation Model or the SESP program (GMA).
• Register and update agreements, support plans, follow-up actions and graduation criteria for each case in the data system.
• Update the physical file of each case in the GMA.
• Make home visits to families who are in the targeting process.
• Provide periodic follow-up (minimum twice a month) for 12 months, to each case targeted in the poverty alleviation programs
• Process the application and delivery of monthly cash assistance for families registered within the GMA or the SESP program.
• Make referrals and accompaniments to families within the poverty alleviation programs for accessing services.
• Call and monitor financial management, nutrition and other training required by the poverty alleviation intervention.

Interns work five days per week under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.

Responsibilities
• Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background; the intern's assigned office as well as the internship period.

Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Data and Analytics Section, the interns will:
• Participate in the collection, computation, and analysis of human settlements Sustainable Development Goal Indicators and New Urban Agenda Indicators and other urban indicators.
• Participate in the collection, computation, and analysis of Urban Monitoring Framework (UMF) Indicators data for various cities.
• Assist with logistics of meetings organized by the Data and Analytics Section.
• Perform any other tasks requested to support the Data and Analytics Section.
