Job purpose/Summary
To provide overall leadership to the Drop in Centre. In addition, provide leadership and technical support to the management and running of the drop in centre for the provision of quality health related services.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for the day to day activities of the center
• Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the progress and performance of the project to ensure they meet acceptable performance standards
• Provide leadership in developing work schedules for the centre to allow for smooth running of client identification registration and service acquisition including referrals.

Key responsibilities and tasks
• Executes overall field operations and testing activities in the country of PCM1, PCM2 and PCM3 varieties; ensures resources are properly allocated to deliver pipeline needs. Understands key business and financial parameters and their impact.
• Develop Testing Research Associates through effective leadership focused on people and organizational needs.
• Optimize Testing footprint for the region.
• Optimizing our Trialing strategy for the region, aligning it with commercial long-term plan and Must Win Battles.
• Facilitate resources including searching for/ maintaining external testing facilities, grower contracts, equipment, seed (preparations), overall planning, and personnel for effective and efficient functioning of vegetable testing programs.
• Ensures high level quality data collection in a timely manner with the appropriate digital tools and entry into enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Breeding, Market-Development and Commercial teams of the specific country/ market segment, to ensure the desired output is generated and shared periodically with stakeholders.
• Partner with peers to build an efficient workflow within Testing.
• Maintain grower relationships, having a customer focus, and ensure all external parties are aligned with the internal and external regulations.
• Supports and implement novel strategies to realize full value of the regional testing organization to realize objectives to deliver the technology pipeline

The Following Are The Objectives
The overall goal of this project is to enhance the capacity of the local partners to increase demand and deliver high quality maternal and family planning services to the underserved populations in Narok County - Kenya, while ensuring sustainability of the environment in which they depend on.
• Improve availability of integrated maternal health and family planning information and services through integration with environment and while addressing gender barriers
• Increase awareness, demand and acceptance of maternal health and family planning services by addressing socio-cultural barriers including Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and through integration with environment.
• Strengthen the community health and environment platforms, systems, and structures to support uptake of maternal health and family planning services
• Strengthen the capacity of the Narok County Health department to plan, finance and implement cross sectoral integrated health and environment programs/projects.
• NPI EXPAND is looking for an individual consultant to provide technical expertise to the sub-grantees in maternal health and family planning (MH/FP). The consultant will work closely with the Gender Advisor to ensure that planned activities integrate gender.
