Job purpose
To perform tasks related to the implementation and assessment of security measures and maintenance of equipment with a view towards providing updates and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making and secure WFP staff, facilities and operations.

Key accountabilities (not all-inclusive)
• Provide dedicated executive assistant support.
• Prepare and/or consolidate comprehensive reports, documentation, correspondence, briefing notes, etc. and conduct research in the area of work.
• Actively seek and use feedback to improve business processes and procedures.
• Respond to complex business support queries in order to provide a timely and accurate resolution of enquiries for clients.
• Oversee the maintenance of records and databases to ensure information is organized and readily available for staff and compliant with all relevant regulations and policies.

Main tasks and Responsibility
• Oversee and maintain good filling factor performance for trade services and ensuring COA and CSA are respected and met
• Identify and research for potential partnerships to stabilize services, development of trade services, and improving load volumes
• Identify and onboard new businesses within the cluster
• Boost import volume for both FOB and CIF clients
• Review client profiles and diversify cargo mix for the loadings within the cluster
• Lead, coach, and guide sales teams and ensure group/business KPIs/objectives are achieved
• Promote and sell non-maritime products (VAS, TBL and Cross-Sale)
• Formulate commercial strategies which will see CMA CGM grows Market Share within the cluster
• Develop Reefer export biz within the cluster, with the focus on flowers from Kenya
• Responsible for creating long-term business strategies to improve revenue and cost reduction in the respective scope of coverage.
• Leads in the preparation of budgets and proposals for infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems and other resources within the area coverage.
• Develop an understanding of the customers’ needs and make sure that they are met.
• Follow up on the weekly sales achievements and provide frequent updates to the management.

Responsibilities and Key Measurable roles
• Must be able to meet a sales target of 20 sales monthly.
• Must be able to recruit a minimum of 15 active sales agents.
• Client acquisition, increase rate of individual loan uptake and relationship management.
• Increase profitability of company through enhanced relationship building and loan collection follow ups
• Maintaining a quality and healthy portfolio through on boarding quality sales/customers
• Undertake regular calls and visits to customers to ensure effective relationship management.
• Cross selling all Company products and services like asset, import, project financing etc.
• Business growth initiatives including marketing activities, new business sign ups, new partnerships etc.
• Adhere to current procedures, processes, memos and circulars as may be issued from time to time.
• Address all customer queries within stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor the portfolio quality on daily basis and proactively institute remedial actions.
• Proper KYC, Credit policy & Manuals adherence in as far as is applicable within my area of responsibility.
• Field Marketing of our loan products to potential buyers/dealers to generate business through Individual and SME client recruitment and disbursement.
• Create awareness of our brand in the market through personal selling, social media like linked in, whats app, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram etc.
• Attending Marketing activities and campaigns as will be set by the company

Requirements
• Diploma in sales or any other business related course
• Experience and passion in sales and Microfinance industry dealing with logbooks
• Must have dealt with Logbook loans for a minimum of 2 years
• Self-motivated, hardworking and a Closer
• Able and willing to go out of way in the field for marketing activities and campaigns as may a raise
