Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Investment Associate, the Investment Analyst (IA) will have a supportive role throughout the investment cycle for FSDAi. This will include gathering market intelligence and producing related analytical reports and presentations; working on financial models and investment analysis; coordinating meetings and engagement with the various stakeholders; producing meeting minutes and ensuring follow-up; and providing input into the investment papers and portfolio reports.

Key Role Requirements And Performance Objectives
The investment analyst will be assessed based on:
• Resourcefulness in producing market analytics
• Quality of materials produced
• Quality of the support provided to the Investment associate and by extension the Investment manager
• Timely delivery of tasks
• Initiative in completing responsibilities

Qualifications and Education
• A good quality Bachelors degree from a recognised university or equivalent
• Some practical work experience a plus
• First class skills in written and spoken English, in report writing and presentation production
• Creative thinker with a passion for economic and social development through private sector investment.

include performing information and data reviews and internal audits on records, creating and maintaining work processes, and collaborating with other team members towards performance and process improvement to rectify issues and determine gaps in service. They also help ensure data operations comply with the organization's standards, as well as any applicable methodologies, especially within the Carbon environment, and ensure the organization meets goals for productivity, quality of service, and overall effectiveness.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Develop SOPs and checklists for maintaining the highest quality of output from data and related units
• Review and audit raw survey, analytical data, and documentation necessary to complete carbon projects in time both quantitatively and qualitatively

Main purpose of the job
The incumbent will provide effective support to the Quality, Independence, Risk & Reputation team in managing risk for the firm while ensuring timely delivery of work in the allocated area.

What you will do
• Ensure refresh and regular maintenance of the Independence and Quality Intranet site;
• Perform client acceptance analysis;
• Perform client and engagement acceptance testing/monitoring;
• Assist with monitoring of staff Risk & Independence E Learnings;
• Perform regional and international conflict checks; and
• Assist the Quality, Independence, Risk & Reputation team as required.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of upper second class.
• Minimum KCSE overall grade of B+, with a B+ in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience is an added advantage.
• Good analytical and organization skills.
