Description
• Ensure the smooth running of the kitchen department, where all aspects of the guest dining experience throughout the whole Hotel are delivered to the highest level, ensuring both property and company standards are attained and adhered to.
• Working proactively to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Develops and implements strategies where key kitchen metrics are identified, communicated and delivered where reports and tracking tools are effectively maintained in line with defined initiatives & targets.
• Effectively manages the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance whilst reflecting promoting the company culture and values.
• Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and departmental inventory is controlled and that target productivity and performance levels are attained
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications/activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner.
• Review and scrutinize the performance of the food offering, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance, including working with internal and external partners on adhoc projects.
• Ensures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

Duties and Responsibilities
• To supervise both the work at the main and staff kitchen;
• To order, store, receive and issue commodities from the store;
• To implement the kitchen department policy;
• To prepare the menu;
• To supervise all the cleaning in both kitchens;
• To ensure that safety and health precautions are adhered to;
• To prepare duty roster for the kitchen staff;
• To prepare and cook all types of food;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Competences:
• Diploma in Food Production or its equivalent from an accredited institution;
• At least 3 years working experience in a similar position;
• Should be physically fit.

Responsibilities
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized room for the massage.
• Assisting with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replacing them between sessions.
• Should provide good customer service to all customers e.g. not playing inappropriate or loud/non-relaxing music, not engaging the customer in unnecessary conversation that interferes with relaxation, not conversing on personal cell phone while providing services, not allowing outside interference into the room while services are in progress, not using old tattered or dirty towels.
• Consult with the clients to screen them for any underlying conditions and assist with selecting of the right massage.
• Accompanying the clients to and from the massage rooms.
• Maintaining the massage treatment records.
• Assist the clients with inquiries, explain various treatments and packages in a courteous manner.
• Source for massage clients within and outside the club.
• Refer clients to other types of therapists when necessary.
• Provide only the services that are instructed by the club and should not put the client in disrepute.
• Complying with all the applicable standards, rules and regulations of the club.
