About the role
• Sanergy is seeking to recruit an energetic procurement Intern to provide support to the procurement team and address all procurement needs in the respective teams as well as collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and update the technical procurement documentation such as the vendor database, vendor feedback forms
• Assist in the drafting of contracts for the EPC team using templates created by the Technical Sourcing Engineer
• Assist in conducting market research to identify pricing trends for various raw materials and equipment
• Provide assistance to the procurement team throughout the procurement process to ensure quality delivery of business services.
• Update procurement plans and ensure that they align with the POAPs
• Conduct inspections of items at vendor locations before they are delivered to the site and coordinate with warehouse to ensure that components delivered match what was purchased
• Prepare packing lists and review delivery notes to check for specification conformance
• Prepare bid analyses and offer recommendations to the Technical Sourcing Engineer
• Conduct vendor visits to map out new suppliers and identify new opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement
• Other tasks assigned by Technical Sourcing Engineer

Overall Purpose
KCDF is giving a three-month internship opportunity to a highly motivated individual for an opportunity to gain hands on experience in KCDF’s technology programme dubbed TechSoup Kenya. The individual will be under the guidance of the Communications Manager and is part of a team that enables the technology programme to actively promote its work and seek opportunities to share the programme approach. The individual will be a key contributor to the unit’s communication and marketing efforts and will support initiatives to improve KCDF’s digital reach and engage its audiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Social Media: Drawing upon research and internally produced content to draft and post engaging content on social media pages i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Website Management: Working with the website developer’s team, maintain the organization’s websites and regularly publish, edit and update content on the sites.
• Digital Analytics: Using analytics tools, maintain dashboards to improve content and engagement against key metrics across the digital communication channels.
• Email Marketing: Produce and manage weekly e-newsletters and recommend new opportunities to engage subscribers and increase reach and grow the database list.

Qualifications

Job Description
• I.T user support for USAID Tujenge Jamii project in the Nakuru office and other satellite offices as may be required;
• Configuring new computers and routine maintenance of computers and other equipment for optimal performance;
• Train users on new technologies;
• Assist to carry out networking,setup of switches and configuring of routers;
• Ensure that company data is safely backed up to OneDrive and SharePoint;
• Providing specifications for computers, printers, scanners, tablets and internet services and confirming the same during the procurement process;
• New staff orientation on use of I.T resources including the email system, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
