{Two positions: Male and Female}
Pursuant to Section 12 of the County Governments Act. 2012 read together with First Schedule of the County Assembly Services Act 2017;
IT IS NOTIFIED for the information of the general public that persons interested to serve as Members of the County Assembly Service Board as provided for under Section 12 (3) (d) of the County Government Acts. 2012 and meet the qualifications under Section 8 and 9 of the County Assembly Service Act. are invited to submit their applications for appointment to the County Assembly of Kisumu Service Board.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Duties and responsibilities of the External County Assembly Board Member are provided for in the County Government Acts of 2012, Section 12(7) as read together with Section 11 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017. In addition to the above, the provisions of Section 10 of the County Assembly Services Act, 2017 shall apply on the termination of the appointment.

Requirement for the Appointment
Applicants must fulfill the following requirement;
1. Must be a citizen of Kenya
2. Must hold a degree from a University recognized in Kenya
3. Must at least have Ten (10) years’ experience in Public affairs and meet the requirement of Leadership and Integrity in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010
4. Master Degree is an added advantage

The Nandi County Assembly Service Board wishes to invite applications from qualified persons for the following position:
Member of the County Assembly Service Board
Pursuant to section 12(3d) of the County Government Act. 2012 and the County Assembly Service's Act. 20)7. The County Assembly of Nandi is seeking to appoint on part-time basis two members of the public (male and female) to join the Nandi County Assembly Service Board.

The Board shall: -
a) Direct and supervise the administration of the services and facilities provided by. and exercise budgetary control over the Service;
b) Determine and review the terms and conditions of service of persons holding or acting in the offices of the service:
c) Initiate, coordinate and harmonize policies and strategies relating to the development of the service;
d) Initiate programs -
I. for trainings and capacity building for members and staff of county assembly and other persons;
ii. That promote ideals of parliamentary democracy as set out in article 127(6) (d) of the constitution: and
iii. That promote public awareness and participation in the activities of the county assembly; and
e) do such other things as may be necessary for the wellbeing of the members and staff of the county assembly
