Key Responsibilities and Tasks
• To carry out allocated trials, safely, efficiently and to a high standard in order to provide useable data for the process of registration of new and existing active substances/products and determine the validity of proof-of-concept projects.
• In collaboration with Agronomic Solutions, create protocols (for relevant disciplines) and provide in season support for peers within the Field Agronomist team.
• Actively provide knowledge and observations from field trials on project developments to Agronomic Solutions Manager by updating SCOUT continuously throughout the season.
• To be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment to ensure accurate and safe application of chemicals to trial sites and maintain storage facility in a professional manner.
• Accurate and prompt use of the trial database (in most cases SCOUT), ensuring data is available within two weeks for Agronomic Solutions and decision making in central functions in order to develop new products as quickly as possible.
• To actively participate in training, motivation and safety of temporary employees and all other commercial functions (e.g. Sales, Customer Marketing & Market Development).
• To adhere to all applicable safety regulations and procedures to ensure continued compliance with in-country Health & Safety regulations.

Tasks And Responsibilities
In particular, the incumbent will undertake the following:

• Support EA Countries in data preparation including the data matrix for AFI and CFI analyses in ISS.
• Regularly update the IPC phase classification and population estimation figures database of the EA countries.
• Regularly update the EA CCLE database and compile the reports for review and further processing.
• In coordination with IPC EA team, support the organization of CCLE’s travel.
• Support the logistical planning and organization of the EA Training and Analysis workshops.
• Facilitate IPC training and analyses upon specific request by the IPC Regional Coordinator.
• Support data collation and updating of the IPC Global Platform.
• Update and maintain regional partners’ contacts list.
• Regularly update the EA Regional dashboard on historical data trend analyses (outcomes and contributing factors).
• Prepare monthly IPC regional data set and information for the FSNWG monthly presentation and update.
• On request of IPC Regional Coordinator, represent IPC EA team in some meetings in Kenya (FSNWG, IPC Partners…).
• Participate in IPC GSU and FAO meetings and workshops, as needed.
• On request, support EA Countries in preliminary data analysis using statistical packages (SPSS, STATA).
