JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform maintenance and service tasks for solar distributors
• Diagnose and repair solar products and their accessories
• Evaluate systems accurately for maintenance, warranty, design and other purposes
• Provide on-site and remote, Tier 1 troubleshooting for solar systems
• Collaborate closely with engineering team to resolve technical issues
• Identify solutions to resolve technical design problems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Provide training to distributors’ service/technical staff on how to identify and resolve issues, repairs, etc. specifically for our product range
• Provide training to distributors on how to instruct customers about process, usage, and maintenance
• Manage and resolve distributors concerns and issues in a timely manner; communicate and document progress to distributors and relevant company employees
• Develop positive and professional relationships with channel partners and service providers
• Develop knowledge of all solar products and systems that we manufacture
• Complete quality assurance inspections, documenting corrective actions, and ensuring completion of corrective items within reasonable timelines
• Maintain compliance with all Safety policies and practices

Main Responsibilities
• Carry out effective diagnosis and identify faulty parts and problems as reported by the driver and ensure prompt rectification to restore the preferred mechanical standards.
• Report any malfunctions identified in the vehicles to the supervisor and give recommendations on necessary corrective measures.
• Removing, inspecting, overhauling, cleaning and installation of the various machinery parts and equipment with a view to servicing, repairing and maintaining the same.
• Promptly respond to breakdown and carry out recovery of Company vehicles on transit.
• Receives and fits the spare parts and materials from the stores to the equipment.
• Maintains a safe working environment for self and others while undertaking duties and ensures high standard of cleanliness.
• Reports any hitches or problems noticed while carrying out assigned duties to the Supervisor for appropriate action.
• Keeps in safe custody all tools and equipment allocated and uses the same in proper manner.
• Keeps safely all spare parts and materials of the jobs in progress.
• Ensures the safety and cleanliness of documentation under own jurisdiction e.g. job cards, requisitions etc.
• Adheres to the health and safety legal standards on the workplace as provided by the Act.
• Handing over all the works and assignments to the supervisor or any other person in charge while leaving for off or leave.
