Job Purpose:
While working closely with the KEPRO board, this role shall support the Kenya Extended Producer Responsibility Organization (KEPRO) in developing and implementing programmes and activities within the following themes:
• Strategy development and implementation in line with KEPRO’s objectives
• Membership recruitment and retention
• Resource mobilization and management
• Oversight KEPRO Leadership and governance
• Relationship and stakeholder management
• Formal Representation of KEPRO
• Communication and Information dissemination

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Your specific duties will include and not limited to the following:
• Implement KEPRO strategies on extended producer responsibility and take-back schemes.
• Perform functions such as membership recruitment, and retention to build and sustain a vibrant Organization.
• Perform administrative functions for KEPRO such as accounting management.
• Organize member activities and offer secretariat services to the members of KEPRO.
• Organize engagements with relevant government agencies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategies to support resource mobilization to facilitate KEPRO’s work.
• Monitor and evaluate the effective execution of KEPRO activities.
• Implement effective internal and external communication strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordination, management and supervision of the administrative functions in the department.
• Maintaining a schedule of field activities from all departments working closely with various Directorates and Units.
• Harmonization of coordination activities and Ward and Sub-County levels.
• Coordinating and cascading of official communication to sub-counties and wards
• Managing daily office operations and acting as the primary liaison with other departments.
• Coordinate departmental work plans and budgeting
• Consolidating reports on administration and development project from sub-counties
• Formulation and implementation of effective programs to attain vision 2030 and sector goals
• Development and implementation of strategic plans and sector development plans

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, with specialization in Human Resource Management.
• Diploma in Human Resource Management or other professional certification in Human Resource Management is an added advantage
• Must have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Administration and HR preferably at the University level or in a large organization.
• Must be registered by the Institute of Human Resource Management and any other relevant professional body.
