Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Statistics or a related field.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant CPA (K).
• Good Understanding of accounting concepts, transactions, and money markets.
• Detail-oriented, analytical thinking, high levels of data analysis, excellent skills in excel and great presentation skills.
• High levels of pro-activeness and problem solving skills.
• High Levels of Integrity and Confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
• Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support to the Regional Finance Director.
• Prepare timely reports on key metrics, financial reports and variance to the Regional Finance Director.
• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.

Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate posting of clients’ accounting information including payment vouchers, cheques, supplier invoices, bank and cash book and general ledger journals into the appropriate accounting software as agreed with the client;
• Review management accounts, journal entries and credit control accounts to ensure they are in line with the established accounting standards;
• Review the engagement checklist for each engagement and ensure the requirements of the clients are adhered to as per the Terms of Reference;
• Review bookkeeping records when required;
• Review posting of the client’s company financial transactions;
• Monitor progress of job with associates and offer support, guidance, mentorship and coaching at every stage;
• Prepare work plan at the beginning of each month;
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of various reconciliations;
• Validate and reconcile with reports the input and output details of VAT returns with supporting documents;
• Ensure the ETR/ESD reconciliations are done and resolve identified differences in a timely manner before review by the manager;
• Advice and ensure clients statutory dues and payments (NSSF/NHIF/Training Levy) are accurately deducted and remitted in line established guidelines;
• Ensure accurate posting of clients’ accounting information including payment vouchers, cheques, supplier invoices, bank and cash book and general ledger journals into the appropriate accounting software as agreed with the client
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business related field Finance/ Accounting;
• CPA/ACCA Finalist
• Minimum of four years of experience + post qualification experience in a reputable accounting firm
