Responsibilities
The primary objective is to support the day-to-day implementation of the P3-Africa. A secondary objective will be to support implementation of other projects depending on need and time availability. The responsibilities for the position include:
• Establish protocols for mentors, PhD students, internships, and Thematic Funding Window in collaboration with partner organizations
• Prepare timelines for all P3-Africa activities
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with key partners through periodic check-ins
• Work with broader team to design and implement learning events
• Support all aspects of the Thematic Window selection process and grants management process
• Support recruitment process for internship program
• Coordinate all logistics for survey methods and other training courses
• Source content for periodic project newsletter, organize listserv and dissemination.
• Provide updated content for P3-Africa website
• Monitor overall project budget and prepare budgets for individual project activities to ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively
• Prepare periodic reports for donors and other key partners

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
• Minimum of a B.A. in social sciences or related field
• Zero to two years’ experience in project work
• Experience or background in education desirable but not required

Job Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: human resource management, business administration, public administration, public relations, communications, finance, commerce, Information Communication Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines: human resource management, business administration, public administration, finance, commerce, public relations, communications, Information Communication Technology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing, where applicable;
• Minimum of twelve (12) years relevant experience, five (5) of which should be in a managerial role;
• A certificate in leadership from a course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and,
• Fulfil the requirements of chapter 6 of the Constitution.

Job Specifications
• Formulating and developing policies, plans and strategies in the functional areas of Finance, Information & Communication Technology, Corporate Communications; Human Resource & Administration;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and government circulars pertaining to employment and public finance;
• Overseeing the selection and implementation of suitable technology systems to optimize service delivery;
• Championing value-for-money systems and model cost-effective measurement techniques for assessing the quality of output delivered by the Authority;
• Championing financial prudence and discipline through financial accounting, planning, treasury management and budgetary controls;
• Liaising with development partners and other external parties on all financial matters;
• Formulating and implementing creative communications and public relations strategies;
• Promoting a positive corporate image of the Authority;
• Managing corporate social responsibility programs, gauging their impact and ensuring compliance with corporate citizenship policies;
• Crisis management responses in line with Authority corporate guidelines;
• Coordinating manpower planning, recruitment, placement, employee performance management, development and reward management at the Authority;
• Coordinating change management programs at the Authority;
• Overseeing the administration functions at the Authority; and,
• Monitoring and reporting on performance progress and risk mitigation activities in the Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluating performance and providing feedback
• Guiding the team understand the performance targets and goals.
• Creating, monitoring and managing teams schedule to ensure there is maximum number of agents on shift for smooth work flow and increased productivity
• To orient and train new hires on Customer service
• Assisting in resolving pickers issues and disputes
• Record keeping and tracking of pickers sick offs to ensure there is uninterrupted productivity at work
• Prepare weekly reports on teams performance for submission to the managers.
• Come up with ideas and deliberate on those proposed by team.
• Management of airtime budget for use by the pickers.

Qualification and Experience Required
• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent from a recognized Tertiary Institution.
• A minimum of 5-7years of relevant working experience in Customer Service and Sales.
• Good / Advanced working knowledge of MS office Suites.
