Banquets Supervisor

What will you be doing:
• Assist the team to plan and ensure all event operations are up to the Fairmont standards.
• Responsible for administrative duties including documenting BEOs, follow up on daily billing and filling event summaries
• Maintain efficient communication between departments and proper flow of information with F&B team regarding events and other programs
• Train, develop and inspire the team towards memorable moments during our events
• We invite you to bring your passion for event planning and operations for banquets to our hotel.

Your experience and skills include:
• Service focused personality with experience in Food and Beverage and Banquet Service required, preferably in luxury property in Hospitality
• Must be a proven team player who is can motivate the team while also able to take initiative.
• Ability to also work independently if needed
• Excellent computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, Micros, Power Point
• Ability to prioritize, maintain control over workloads and perform under pressure efficiently while maintaining the required standards
• Outstanding attention to detail and tenacity in pursuit of excellence

JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• To prepare all types of foods as required
• To ensure cleanliness in the cooking area and cleaning of utensils in the kitchen
• To ensure proper use and maintenance of working equipments
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Education, Skills and Experience

• Must have a Certificate in Food Production/Food and Beverage Service/Hospitality Management or relevant area from recognized Institution.
• Must have at least 1 years’ experience as Cook or comparable position.
