Job Description:
We seek an experienced individual lead with a strong domain experience who can own the end-to-end delivery of a critical component or set of applications in our payments products. You will lead the team from design, release, and maintenance of the software. In addition to that, you will lead a team of 3 - 7 engineers owning the full lifecycle of a product.

Core Responsibilities:
The role holder would be required to:
• Lead the team to develop end-to-end software products to help businesses from different verticals create a suite of payment products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next iterations of the product/set of assigned products.
• Connect with businesses directly to understand and develop solutions for their Jobs-to-be-done.
• Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces, and troubleshooting (Java, React, Javascript, design patterns) to guide the team in delivering software
• Acts as the “technical product owner” in owning Tech Debt and planning and Discovery on technical deliverables.,

Qualifications & Experience:
Must have experience:

• 5 years+ experience in building software in a fast-paced industry with experience with Java, Javascript, REST APIs, SQL.
• 1yr+ of technical leadership.
• Card Background: (PCI, and Card Experience across all markets).
• Attention to scalability, resiliency, and building high-performance transactional systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficient in at least one coding language, including but not limited to Python, Go, Javascript, Java, C++.
• Scrum master certification and experience working with Agile software development approach.
• A deep understanding of building cloud-native applications and applying DevOps principles and CI and CD in delivering software.

Nice to-have experience:
• Enhancing product experience using machine learning and AI.
• PCI DSS compliance and application design.
• Work experience with Monetization Products and/or with a vertical industry (including Ecommerce, Retail, Auto, Travel, Financial Service, Entertainment, Local Business, and Gaming).
• Work experience in the payment industry building to end-user experience products.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.

JOB DETAILS:

We are now looking for a MS Automated Operations Engineer to secure the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level.

What you will do
• Delivery, execute the MS Broadcast Playout MSTOP processes to ensure that services provided to our customers align to SLA performance levels and delivery expectations. Manage 1st Level Service Monitoring and Event Management
• Ensures the contribution and distribution of primarily live content is scheduled, received, recorded and transmitted as per requirements, following the MSTOP MS Broadcast Content Logistics process.
• Secure that distribution transmissions are being delivered to the Ericsson demarcation point as per SLA.
• Perform continuous resource and service status and performance monitoring to proactively detect possible failures and act upon them to ensure 1st level restoration and repair

You will bring
• Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience.

JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities/Activities.
• Develop technical and normative outputs, including spatial strategy, situational analyses reports, proposals, maps, plans, and designs for public spaces.
• Develop clear design proposals, drawings and related reports for partner cities.
• Review of public space design proposals prepared by local planners for various pilot cities.
• Provide planning and design inputs to ongoing planning initiatives, including citywide and site-specific assessments.
• Write policy briefs, concept notes and research papers on the work on Nature Based Solutions and sustainable urban design planning approaches.
• Facilitate public space and Block by Block community participation workshops.
• Write reports on workshops, meetings, charrettes, and other stakeholder engagements.
• Provide inputs into PFES publications reports, proposals, concept notes, policy documents, guidelines, information materials, presentations, and other dissemination materials.
• Attend meetings and conferences within and outside UN-Habitat on behalf of the Section.
• Deliver trainings to partners on the Global Public Space Programme's methodologies and approaches.

Qualifications/special skills
• University degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or Urban Planning, or related field that is relevant for sustainable urban development and urban planning and design is required.
• 2 years' experience in urban planning and design with direct proven experience in drawing and preparing plan graphical material using computer assisted design tools is required.
• Strong graphic representation skills is required.
• Good hand drawing / sketching is an added advantage
• Experience of facilitating community participation processes related to urban planning, design and public space development is desirable
• Experience of playing Minecraft, using Minecraft as a community participation tool and translating Minecraft sketches into actionable public space designs is desirable.

Languages
• Fluency in one of the working languages of the UN Secretariat, English (oral and written) is required; knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
