JOB DETAILS:
Overall Job Function
• Reporting to the Data Manager, the Data Officer will be responsible for the documentation and compilation of timely program data and reporting of activities at CHS-supported health facilities in the Shinda Tena Project.

Person Specification
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in statistics, computer/IT studies, epidemiology, or mathematics
• At least four years of relevant experience in a similar/related position in a PEPFAR-funded program.
• Experience in working with MoH systems and HIV-related reports
• Strong Data management and analysis skills
• Strong SQL Data management skills
• Proficiency in computer packages for generating and analyzing reports. Experience in the use of visual analytics tools is an added advantage
• Expert skill level in the use of health aggregate databases (MoH DHIS2 & DATIM)
• Proficient in statistical analysis packages (SPSS/STATA/R etc.)

1. KCCB-ACTS/12/2022/26 - Deputy Program Director, Monitoring, Evaluation And Learning

Job Purpose
The Deputy Program Director-Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning is a senior member of the KCCB-ACTS leadership. S/he will lead KCCB-ACTS strategic information portfolio and contribute actively to the use of data to inform program implementation, advocacy and planning. His/her principal responsibilities will include planning, research, evaluation, monitoring and reporting. The position will oversee KCCB-ACTS systems for capturing and analyzing program results to better understand organizational outcomes and impact. The role involves developing systems to improve information flow and data use while also analyzing KCCB-ACTS performance within the context of HIV response at national level. S/he will identify opportunities for innovation in strategic information capture and use and will work closely with project and supported facilities to use information technology to improve the programs overall quality and impact. S/ he will take autonomous responsibility for the results of his/her team.

JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications/special skills
• A Bachelor's degree in data and statistics is required; Professional certification in monitoring and evaluation and political economy of land governance is desirable.
• 2 years of experience in data and statistics collection and analysis for monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement on land, agriculture, and national policy processes is required.
• Knowledge on land governance and tenure security issues at national, regional and international level is desirable.
• Experience in coordinating and enhancing the capacity of land and data entities within national governments to generate comparable land data & statistics for policy information; and coordination and management of partners is desirable.
