What This Job Involves
• Assist in preparing and presenting proposals to clients
• Preparing feasibility studies, involving:
o Market research
o Development advice
o Cash flow analysis
o Financial modelling
• Compile assignment specific primary and secondary research
• Consolidate market studies and financial projections and draw conclusions
• Prepare project development briefs and economic land use reports
• Prepare and present reports and proposals to Clients
• Manage clients and clients’ expectations
• Manage and train a team of analysts
• Report to the Head of Department in Dubai

Desired Experience And Technical Skills

• University Degree with a specialization in Economics / Finance / Business Administration / Real Estate
• Experience (4 to 8 years) of Real Estate finance / consulting / development
• Leadership and team spirit
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience in specific asset class (residential, retail, office, hospitality, industrial) is a plus
• Excellent command of English Language (speaking, reading and writing)
• Knowledge of Portuguese, Swahili or French language (speaking, reading and/or writing) is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for overseeing the operations of various land registries in the sub counties
• Responsible for planning appropriate officer accommodation for registries
• Prepare and submit budget estimates for registry services
• Initiate appraisal and disposal of files, documents and records in accordance with Government regulations
• Be responsible for supervision, guidance and development of staff working under him/her

Requirements for Appointment
Must be A Kenyan Citizen
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Land Economics, Information Science/Archives Administration/ Records Management or any social science from an Institution recognized in Kenya
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• Must have served for a minimum period of 3 years or in equivalent and relevant position in the public or private sector.
• Must be a member of Association of Archives and Records Management officers (ARMRO) or equivalent professional body recognized in Kenya.
• Must possess Computer Proficiency Certificate
• Management Course from a recognized institution

JOB PURPOSE
vulnerability analysis, targeting analysis, and data pipelines development and operationalization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the development and scale-up of the DataBridges for household assessment and monitoring data:
• Be a focal point for support requests from WFP Country Offices
• Map sources of data and analytical processes relevant to DataBridges
• Manage databases part of DataBridges.
• Support the development of household assessment tools
• Support the development of automated analysis pipelines with DataBridges
• Support and coordinate the implementation of streamlined data collection products in the region
• Support the regional focal point for the coordination of data standardization processes in the region
• Any other assigned task.

FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
• Proficient and fluent command of written and spoken technical English,
• Advanced understanding of food security analysis and proficient report writing,
• Advanced knowledge and experience in designing and programming digital data collection tools using technologies like XLSForms, ODK Suite, MODA, ONA and or Kobo alike platforms,
• Advanced knowledge and experience with statistical data analysis and modeling using tools like SPSS, R, Python, etc.
• Experience and proficiency in establishing data pipelines systems using query-based software such as SQL
• Proficient knowledge and experience in building dashboards and business reports using business intelligence tools like Tableau, R Shiny, etc.
• Proficient knowledge of presenting complex data into both operational and executive visual summaries
• Good communicator and able to train large groups of people
• Diplomacy and ability to persuade key partners and stakeholders

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

• Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area. University degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Food Security, International Development, or related fields is an added advantage

Experience:
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in food security assessment and analysis, humanitarian assessments and/or information management

Languages:
• Fluency in oral and written in English, a second UN language (especially French) would be advantage.
