Duties and Responsibilities
• This is the entry and training grade for Diploma holders. An officer at this level will assist senior officers in the provision of agricultural extension services. Specific duties and responsibilities will involve mobilizing, training and advising farmers on matters relating to agricultural extension services in a working unit
Requirements for Appointment
• Must be a Kenyan Citizen
• Must have a Diploma in any of the following Disciplines: Agriculture/Food science/ Horticulture/ Agriculture Economics/ Farm Management/ Natural Resource Management/ Agribusiness/ Agriculture Extension/ Agricultural Education/ Agricultural engineering or an equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution
• Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

Duties and responsibilities will entail: - Carrying out practical demonstrations relating to livestock production, Collecting and collating livestock data and information, extension activities, participating in field days and agricultural shows to disseminate livestock production technologies and information and participating in collaborative research activities
Requirements for Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Certificate in any of the following disciplines: - Animal Health and Production/Dairy Technology/ Animal Science/ Apiculture or Range Management from a recognized institution
• Diploma in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution
• Satisfy chapter six of the constitution of Kenya

• Facilitating trade promotion activities; and
• Participating in the implementation of trade related development projects.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this post, a candidate must have :-
• Kenyan Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Commerce/ Marketing/ Business Administration/Business Management/Entrepreneurship/International Trade/Relations/Sociology or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
