Key Roles & Responsibilities

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
• Proven experience as CEO/ General HRM or in other managerial position
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• MSc/MA in business administration/HRM/Strategic Management or relevant field

Job responsibilities
• Maintains short, medium and long-term diaries for the CEO; making necessary travel, meeting and other arrangements for appointments.
• Makes administrative arrangements and plan for internal and external meetings, conferences and attends as necessary; operating a system to ensure the CEO is fully briefed for meetings, including recommending solutions where appropriate.
• Liaises with external bodies with which the CEO requires representation and is involved in as required.
• Tracking of progress on agreed issues; follow-up with focal points on deadlines, commitments made, actions taken and coordination of submission of Senior Management’s reports in preparation for relevant meetings
• Ensures that all follow-on phone calls, correspondence and paperwork, is completed in a correct, organized and thorough manner
• Prepares and edits correspondence, reports, memos, message point, speeches and presentation material as required; noting the need for accessibility in all documentation from all sources.
• Sit in weekly HOD meetings, take minutes, keep records of the same and follow up on action items.
• Research and follow up of business contacts made through networking and providing feedback to CEO and general management.

Job Qualification
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law or business administration.
• Diploma in secretarial studies will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in ICT, use of reporting systems and latest knowledge of office management tools.

Relevant Experience & Skills
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong business writing and presentation skills.
• must maintain strict confidentiality and also demonstrate the following personal attributes:
• Strong ability to establish priorities, work within tight timelines and multi-task
• Ability to remain calm and in control under pressure.
• Knowledge of project management.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office packages particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement supervise and monitor ECDE programs at the ward level
• Supervise ECDE teachers and centres within the ward
• Provision of professional ECDE staff development and monitoring for ECDE teachers
• Provide timely and periodic data on enrolment, syllabus coverage and attendance of ECDE teachers
• Complete classroom observations as scheduled and provide project coordination
• Serve as resource for ECDE research and assessment of and use of curriculum materials
• Collect, maintain and submit ECDE statistical data to the assistant director ECDE
• Requirements for Appointment
• Diploma in early childhood development or related field from a recognized institution
• Professional certificate in relevant field from recognized institution
• Computer knowledge
• Three years relevant work experience
