Nation Media Group PLC seeks to recruit experienced and self-motivated Business Solutions Executives-Digital Sales in the Advertising Department. The ideal candidates will have the overall responsibility of identifying, fostering and growing business relationships with customers by offering a compelling portfolio of advertising products and innovative solutions to meet their business needs. By combining best in class sales skills with rich data science, they will empower advertisers around the world to perform and reach their maximum potential through paid display Ads on the high-growth Nation Media Properties, Nation. Africa, along with new ad products such as native and product ads.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Responsible for bringing in new business to meet/exceed new business revenue targets;
• Make outbound calls into new competitive accounts;
• Leverage internal and external resources to drive net new business through high conversion rate of sales leads;
• Create and maintain a robust Prospecting Plan including Sector Management and Prospecting objectives;
• Adopt Nation's culture of sales excellence, including established sales processes, pipeline management, forecast accuracy, maintain tool and reporting accountabilities, and a focus on core role KPI's;
• For acquired customers, develop quality customer plans laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies and partnering with Account Specialist to manage for 6 months in order to reach full graduation potential;
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction, remove blockers, and create a seamless customer experience;
• Act as an ambassador and representative for Nation Ads in the advertising and media community;
• Develop network of strong relationships with key search and media industry influencers, customers and partners. Develop and maintain a high- level understanding of the search industry and trends affecting or influencing the marketplace;

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
• University Degree preferably in Sales and Marketing;
• Certification in digital marketing and advertising is an added advantage;
• Minimum of 2 years' of experience in digital sales;
• Proven track record of exceptional performance, measured against revenue and customer satisfaction;
• Relentless focus on the customer experience while balancing the needs of the business;
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for search and technology and its use in driving revenue, efficiency, customer and employee satisfaction;
• Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity;
• Provide digital advertising knowledge, new business development and customer acquisition experience, customer obsession, a passion for innovation and best-practice sharing, all while delivering exceptional results over time;

Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clear understanding of the mission's portfolio and structure, as well as mission and Agency communications objectives.
• Contribute to the professional presentation and execution of communications products and services and contribute to systems to track metrics/indicators that will translate the effectiveness of these efforts.
• Produce compelling and relevant content that adheres to branding and style guidelines and uses a consistent tone, style, and language to communicate to target audience.
• Participate in and contribute to presentations at quarterly coordinating, strategy, and performance review meetings that assess MSI efforts during the previous quarter.
• Contribute to the accountability of the project by tracking/updating content and tasks using project management and filing systems.
• Contribute to the development of technical team communications strategies and content plans in their area of coverage.
• Provide daily monitoring and management of platforms to flag any sensitive issues.
• Contribute to the development of social media messaging and toolkits with draft messages, corresponding links, and appropriate images on a regular basis.
• Schedule and post social media content optimally as per the content calendar and checking that all edits have been made and approvals secured prior to publishing.
• Work with management on a daily basis to develop systems and workflows among the team that streamline social content development, approvals, and publishing.
• Provide analytics, including impressions, clicks, views, and other useful indicators of community engagement and growth.
• Contribute to a monthly catalog of news stories that will be further analyzed by an independent media monitoring organization on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Facilitate travel, coverage, or otherwise liaising with journalists on site visits.
• Conducting interviews, taking photos, videos, or otherwise supporting field work or events, and assisting with other activities, such as assembling materials, setting up signage, tents, etc.
• Work with photographers and videographers to capture human interest stories.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in journalism or public relations, including demonstrated experience in digital technologies such as Meta Ads, Twitter Ads, Brandwatch, or others is required.
• Experience working and traveling in Somalia and in-depth understanding of Somali culture, geography, and development issues is required.
