Job Purpose
To produce high-quality meals to patients and staff in a timely manner in line with the laid down recipes for consistency and be accountable for the use and storage of supplies used in the kitchen.

Responsibilities
• Preparing and cooking food in the particular section for effective provision of catering services.
• Ensuring that food is cooked as per the recipes for consistency in order to uphold the quality standards of the departments
• Serving food on time to meet the quality objective of the department
• Clearing all leftovers after services
• Ensuring that the working area is constantly cleaned by applying the “clean-as-you-go” principle
• Properly handle equipment in the kitchen and promptly report any faults to the Head Chef or Supervisor on duty
• Any other duty as may be requested by the Supervisor

Qualifications and skills required
• Minimum of a Certificate in Food production from a reputable institution or equivalent
• K.C.S.E mean grade of C-
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in a busy catering establishment
• Training in the Management of food safety based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) management system is an added advantage
• Knowledge of receipts in food production
• Be a self-starter
• A team player with high levels of motivation and flexibility
• A passion for food and a commitment to upholding the highest standards
• Ambition to grow further in the career
• Have a good command of English language (especially spoken English)

Cleaner is responsible for maintaining overal hygiene and cleanliness of all offices, toilets, boardrooms, storerooms and other facilities of the work place.

Main clients
• IB Coworkers.
• Head of Mission.
• Visitors.

Key performance areas and main responsibilities
Priority Task And Responsibilities
Requests for and receives cleaning materials well in advance not to run short. Uses material economically (avoid misusing cleaning materials).
• Requests for and receives office consumables and materials like coffee, tea, milk, water, toilet paper etc.
• Refilling supplies such as tissue papers, paper towels, hand sanitisers, air freshners etc
• Cleans work places assigned (offices, toilets, boardrooms, storerooms and other facilities).
• Outside cleaning time, provides refreshments for visitors as well as for staff meetings and tea breaks.
• Participates in providing similar services in special events.
• Maintains all cleaning materials and refreshment equipment assigned in good condition.
• Advise the supervisor on any requirements or equipment necessary to ensure that the facilities remain clean and in good condition
• Carries out any additional clerical tasks provided by the supervisor.

Knowledge, skills, qualifications, abilities and behavioral competences
Requirement
• Applicants for the office cleaner position must have a O-Level Education (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination-KCSE).
• Certification in housekeeping will be an added advantage

Essential
• 3 years’ of experience in a similar position
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals and supplies, and methods used in office cleaning
• Basic understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDSs)
• Ability to competently operate floor scrubbing machines, floor buffers, and wet and dry vacuums
• Good Communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in English
• Good Interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers, or clients
• Detail orientation To perform the job of an office cleaner successfully, the individual must give attention to detail when cleaning
• Organizational skills Office cleaners must also be organized individuals with the ability to follow a schedule in a timely manner and adapt to changing schedules or routines
• Physical dexterity The job of an office cleaner is manually inclined, so it is important that they are energetic and can lift up small equipment without assistance. The person must be must be able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, and stand for a long duration with ease.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Formulate policies and strategies necessary for effective management of the national reserves.
• Securing the integrity of National Reserves ecosystems Cost control measures
• Effective management and conservation of wildlife inside and outside the reserves.
• Timely and accurate reports.
• Formulating and interpreting policies on the reserves management
• Ensuring effective handling of administration issues arising from the national reserves and sanctuaries.
• Ensuring effective revenue collection
• Supervising, appraising and ensuring appropriate training of personnel.
• Ensuring preparation of accurate and timely reports.
• Ensuring visitor statistics are appropriately maintained.
• Ensuring enforcement of the National reserve’s rules and regulations.
• Preparing annual work plans and budgets.
• Maintaining appropriate linkages with relevant stakeholders.
• Initiating resource mobilization.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements for appointment
• Bachelors’ degree in any of the following fields: - Tourism, Environmental Science, Wildlife management, Economics, Commerce, Sociology, Geography, International Relations or any other equivalent qualification in a related field from a recognized Institution.
• Masters’ degree in related field from recognized institution is an added advantage
• Demonstrated professional competence in Tourism Management and gained managerial andadministrative capability.
• Member of recognized professional Marketing or Tourism body
• Must satisfy requirement of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010
