Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Pitching our services & making presentations to key decision makers in various top companies.
• Facilitating execution of our service agreement, ensuring that all clients understand & sign agreements before start of any recruitment process

JOB DETAILS:

As a People Partner you will play a key role in managing the business from the People perspective of a number of teams and sub-departments. This role will support the SSA Subregion (Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda).
You will be the main point of contact for the entire team, providing both expert strategic thinking and leadership skills, working directly with the People Managers, individuals as well as the leaders of the assigned countries.

BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
• Act as a Business Partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and coach for the 4 General Managers and their senior leadership teams. Support line managers by providing valuable input and expertise to the team on Hiring processes, Employment laws, HR policies, HR processes, Compensations, Relocations, Expats, etc.
• Cascade the global people practices and processes.(Performance management, engagement survey, headcount planning, salary reviews, etc)
• Ensure Glovo culture is lived in every office through its design and layout, events, and the provided people experience.
• Lead the Diversity & Inclusion strategy of the region,
• Design and implement employment guidelines and integrate global People processes relevant while ensuring compliance with each country’s legislation.
• Design strategic initiatives through the generation of relevant data and analysis.
• Lead growth projects within the teams you support as well as reorganizations according to business needs.
• Partner with People Operation, Payroll and Legal teams to manage employee relations, labor relations and disciplinary actions. Keep perspective and possible impacts on the Business.
• Partner with the People Acquisition team to ensure and enable the correct recruitment process: design JDs, understand current markets, benefits offered, etc.
• Support the business to identify mid and long-term capability needs, in order to implement a learning and development process and ensure a continuous learning environment.
• Ensure development is a key topic in Glovo, making it a core topic at the leadership level within the client teams. Ensure the performance review process with high-quality discussion, and implement and manage a career path for key roles and secure succession planning.
• Monitor employee engagement progress, and retention activities.
• Work in collaboration with other People Partners in projects of regional or global scope.

YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• A business first attitude and Hands-On approach.
• 7+ years experience in highly demanding environments and in a similar role
• Experience in startups will be highly valued, either by having directly worked in a similar company or managing a new project unit in a larger organization.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to adapt, execute 360º and coordinate with the team.
• Fluency in English and Local Language, perfect verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Country employment and labor law is a strong plus.

Reporting to the Human Resources & Administration Officer, the HR & Administration Assistant provides general support in the day to day management and administration of the human resources function. While the focus is typically on HR administration & compliance, the position may also support other functional areas such as recruitment, staff orientation, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and performance management.
No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect as a Title?
• Assist in recruitment processes, calling shortlisted candidate, preparing interview schedules, and assisting with back ground screening and reference checks for final job candidates.
• Ensure complete and up-to-date employment documentation and confidential handling of employee information.
• Ensure all required employee documentation is obtained, correctly filed, and updated as necessary.
• Support the orientation and on-boarding of new employees, including assigning onboarding tasks on Taleo.
• Ensure documentation in respect of departing staff is complete and properly filed.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures as well as external regulatory concerns and applicable labour laws.
• Data entry in HRIS and other systems.
• Cover for the administration staff with the office management in their absence.
• Any other duties as assigned.

To Be Successful, You Will Have
• Diploma or professional certification in human resource management, business, organizational development, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of previous human resource management experience at the assistant level.
