JOB DETAILS:

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Installing and repairing electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and fuses.
• Testing electrical systems to identify problems with wiring and circuitry
• Installing electrical wiring and equipment in new buildings to ensure compliance with codes.
• Inspecting electrical equipment such as motors, generators, welding machines, and transformers to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
• Maintaining electrical equipment such as light fixtures, motors, generators, and switches to ensure that they are working properly.
• Operating and maintaining computerized monitoring systems that control electrical equipment such as motors and generators.
• Installing lighting systems such as fluorescent lights, incandescent bulbs, light fixtures, and spotlights.
• Installing electrical wiring and equipment in existing buildings to bring them up to code or repair existing systems that are not working properly.
• Proposing solutions to electrical problems such as short circuits and power surges.

Qualifications and Skills Requirement
• Technical and vocational qualification.
• Over 5 years in an Industrial environment.
• Eletrcical Intallation License.
• Have good classroom management skills.
• Possess problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

JOB DETAILS:

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Plans, organizes and supervises the operation, maintenance, repair and inspection of mechanical work for collection systems and treatment facility equipment and systems. Performs a variety of work assignments in the operation and maintenance of mechanical repairs and related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
• Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical (Plant/Automobile option) from an Institution recognized in Kenya
• Must be a registered Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya
• A minimum of five (5) years mechanical engineering experience,
• Experience on vehicles repairs and vehicle body construction and mechanical inspection
• Knowledge on road vehicle standards
• Experience on heavy machinery diagnostic equipment
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
• Knowledge in computer skills
• Qualification in relevant computer e.g., excel

SOFT SKILLS
• Good communication Written and Verbal communication in English and Kiswahili
• Professional dresser and conscious of the environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements
• Excellent work ethic and ability and work under pressure during long hours as needed

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
• Criminal Investigation Department (Certificate of Good Conduct)
• Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
• For those with higher education certificates (degrees) from outside Kenya, a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University
