Job holder works with the wider digital team to innovatively conceptualize, design and deploy the graphic solutions across ICEA LION’s digital assets, including but not limited to: social media, website and e-shots. The holder will also be responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact and appeal for our internal and external audiences.



Key Responsibilities
• Develop new and fresh Concepts for creating graphic content in line with the company’s goals.
• Track developments of various social trends and patterns and determine the best solutions for crafting relevant and valuable posts for different social media channels.
• Design and implement high-quality graphic content. This includes a variety of visual content types, such as:
• High-quality and attention-grabbing images to elevate brand image
• Video content: Short form an long form
• Visually compelling infographics that present valuable information about ICEA LION
• Quote graphics that reflect the vision and message of the brand, enabling followers to relate and build a relationship with the business
• Logos and fonts that maintain brand consistency and professionalism
• Work with supervisors to identify and deploy cost effective and efficient ways to deliver design solutions by keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat with regards to photography and Computer-Aided-Design (CAD).
• Develop internal materials and support new business presentations with visual storytelling and the creation of mockup ideas
• Collaborate regularly with the content team and actively participate in brainstorms to ideate innovative solutions
• Actively seek out inspiration, cultural and industry trends to ensure concepts are fresh and relevant
• Work within brand guidelines while challenging yourself to think out of the box and elevate creative solutions
• Present work to various teams with the ability to confidently communicate the rationale behind your design.
• Develop internal or Client targeted messaging including e-shots, invitations, newsletters etc.

Job Requirements
• A Diploma or Degree or Professional Qualifications in Design/Graphic Design
• Over 2 years’ experience in a marketing & corporate communications role, preferably in a service oriented industry
• Ability to design info/motion graphic/animations/interactive ads
• Ability to quickly create compelling visuals, from initial comps to final, ready-to-go assets
• Copy writing skills and MS PowerPoint Skills would be ideal
• Good organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to co-ordinate the efforts of stakeholders such as colleagues and suppliers
• Ability to work well with people at all levels in and outside the organization
• Familiarity with the tenets of a brand manual and adherence to the same
• Organizational and problem solving skills
• Strong team member and ability to promote a positive atmosphere throughout the organization.

JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities:
• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Comply with coding standards and technical design.
• Believes in systematic approach to developing the system through clear documentation (flowcharts, layouts, & etc) of functionality, address every use case through creative solutions.
• Adapts structured coding styles for easy review, testing and maintainability of the code.
• Integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system.
• Ensure unit and integration level verification plan are in place and adheres to great quality of code at all time.
• Active participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system.
• Verify user feedback in making system more stable and easy.
• Work closely with product managers, designers and other peer developers.
• Preparing technical training documents for onboarding new engineers.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience that informs a solid foundation in computer science
• 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer in a fast-paced engineering organization
• Experience in technologies of our stack: Javascript, Typescript, CSS, React, React Native, Native mobile development e.t.c
• Experience shipping and iterating on commercial-grade product (i.e. not just contract services)
• At least 4 hours of time-zone aligned work hours with East Africa Time (EAT)
• Have demonstrated passion for code craftsmanship
