Overall purpose of the role:
The Supply Chain Officer (Procurement) main objective is to provide efficient and effective Procurement and Logistics implementation and smooth running of departmental operations according to DRC’s internal and donor procedures, as per the Operations Handbook.

• Liase with various transporters to allocate trucks for orders as per timelines
• Seek alternative trucks where orders are ceded, or previously allocated trucks are not available
• Follow up to ensure trucks are positioned at loading bay when required
• Review load plan daily and share where there are planning inaccuracies
• Weekly prepare truck allocation compliance report
• Monitor and support factory evacuation and 3P sites by coordinating shuttles
