JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;

• Writing and testing simple computer programs according to instructions and specification;
• Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems 
• Providing user support and training of users, repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals; 
• Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment and reporting any faults for further action

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have;

• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade of C plain with at least a C- in Mathematics and English/ Kiswahili or its approved equivalent.
• Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, information technology, software engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Should possess any of the following specific skills and knowledge: CCNA certification, JavaScript, Python, SQL, PHP, C++

Work Hours: 8

Experience: No Requirements

Level of Education: high school
