Background

We are recruiting for the position of Accountant. The industry is Online Printing & Branding Solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
  • Monitor revenue, cost of goods sold, and gross margins across product categories
  • Track daily sales from website, POS, and online payment platforms
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and structured filing systems
  • Reconcile daily transactions from M-Pesa, bank payments, card payments, and online gateways
  • Ensure order-to-payment matching to prevent revenue leakage
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls
  • Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, and other statutory returns

Required Specifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • CPA (K) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience handling high-volume transactions and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and reporting abilities
  • Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit schedules
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies
