Job Summary:
The Elite Job is looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our team in various Part-Time and Full-Time Accounting roles in Kenya. As an Accounting Professional, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, from managing daily transactions to preparing reports, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting in audits. These positions offer flexible hours and are ideal for those with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Provide financial advice to management and stakeholders.
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure all tax-related processes and payments are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or pursuing).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Kenya is an advantage.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field (for Full-Time positions).
- Entry-level candidates with relevant coursework or internships may be considered for Part-Time roles.
- Experience with financial reporting and auditing is a plus.
Working Hours:
- Part-Time: Flexible working hours, up to 20-25 hours per week.
- Full-Time: Standard working hours of 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime depending on workload and deadlines.
- Both positions offer remote work opportunities, providing flexibility for the right candidates.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
