Job Summary

Our client in the Personal Care Product Manufacturing Industry, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Avocado Oil Production Specialist to bring technical expertise and operational excellence to its dynamic team. The role is a critical part of the production process, overseeing oil extraction, quality compliance, and raw material handling to ensure smooth operations and timely production of premium avocado oil.

Job Details

Oil Extraction Operations

Operate and monitor oil processing systems, optimize processing parameters and conduct routine maintenance, calibration and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted.

Quality Control & Compliance

Implement HACCP, ISO and organic certification protocols, conduct process quality checks, and keep accurate production logs.

Raw Material Handling

Manage stocks, monitor fruit quality, supervise handling and coordinate with suppliers to ensure optimal fruit quality.

Data Management & Reporting

Record daily metrics, notice and report trends to improve efficiency and prepare timely reports as required.

Team Leadership & Training

Supervise production staff, ensure adherence to SOPs, train staff on equipment handling and quality control, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Processing or a related field;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in edible oil extraction preferably avocado or similar cold-pressed oils;
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards, organic certification and oil quality parameters; and
  • Experience with automated processing systems and production line management.
