As part of the Country Brand and Marketing team, design and deliver a consistent and compelling brand experience for clients, in line with the Country Brand & Marketing strategy, the Group Marketing strategy and Standard Bank brand architecture. Contribute to the creation of positive and memorable experiences that resonate with clients, employees, and other stakeholders and drive brand awareness, consideration and advocacy.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions
- Fulfil CSI activities in Country, working closely with Group to ensure alignment to CSI strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of the country’s business strategy to translate business requirements into event specifications and experiences.
- Develop and implement the sponsorship plan in country to ensure alignment to BU strategies as well as Group Brand and Marketing strategic aspirations
- Identify through research or consultation with stakeholders, Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects, initiatives, and activities for the country to undertake in line with strategic aspirations, and oversee the delivery of these initiatives in line with Group frameworks.
- Oversee the country visual art assets and experiences in alignment with the Group Brand Experience strategy and visual arts blueprints.
- Conceptualize, develop and lead the delivery of product launches and other events in country ensuring that they are in line with business objectives, events guidelines and policies.
- Provide brand management guidance to the design and production of marketing and advertising campaign material by contracted suppliers to ensure that all concepts and artwork are developed in line with the brand and advertising principles and corporate identity guidelines.
- Develop and drive effective merchandise and promotional items in country to ensure that they are used to achieve maximum exposure and brand awareness.
- Partner with contracted agencies to support the development and execution of relevant brand experience initiatives
- Collect data and measure the effectiveness of all brand experience initiatives in Country to inform ROI and future spend.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- First Degree-Business Commerce, Marketing
Work Experience
- Experience in eventing and product launch, conceptualisation of the event through to execution, working with sponsorship campaigns, in a project environment, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exposure to Corporate Social Investment initiatives and experience working cross-functionally with teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- 5-7 years
