We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will play a key role in expanding the general insurance portfolio hence driving the growth and success of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring profitable new business through Agents and implementing strategies to help achieve the company's sales and revenue targets.

• Acquisition of new agents' relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to develop and implement business development strategies
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets per Month
• Increasing client base
• Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
• Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Researching business opportunities and viable income
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Marketing and any other Business related field.
• Significant progress in professional papers. i.e.(CIM, Dip Marketing, AIIK etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience in Business Development specifically General Business, sales, or a related field.
• Experience dealing with Agents.
