Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and on time
  • Maintain proper records of financial transactions and support timely data entry
  • Prepare reconciliations of ledgers, bank accounts, and vendor statements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Collaborate in internal audits and support external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Utilize and maintain accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) to process transactions
  • Analyze financial data and suggest strategies for cost optimization and efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, cash flows, and financial analysis
  • Contribute to improving and automating clerical accounting processes
  • Support inventory and procurement finance functions where needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience, strictly in audit and/or metal manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Proficient in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
  • Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and government compliance in manufacturing
  • Experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or Sage
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to propose practical financial strategies
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive information
  • CPA Part II or higher is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with manufacturing accounting procedures and costing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or production environment
