Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and on time
- Maintain proper records of financial transactions and support timely data entry
- Prepare reconciliations of ledgers, bank accounts, and vendor statements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Collaborate in internal audits and support external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements
- Utilize and maintain accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage) to process transactions
- Analyze financial data and suggest strategies for cost optimization and efficiency
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, cash flows, and financial analysis
- Contribute to improving and automating clerical accounting processes
- Support inventory and procurement finance functions where needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience, strictly in audit and/or metal manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in handling accounts payable and receivable
- Proficient in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and government compliance in manufacturing
- Experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or Sage
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to propose practical financial strategies
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive information
- CPA Part II or higher is an added advantage
- Familiarity with manufacturing accounting procedures and costing
- Experience working in a fast-paced industrial or production environment
