Job Purpose
To oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing home while providing quality patient care, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical services.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of clinical staff.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage common illnesses and injuries.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and Ministry of Health regulations.
- Review and maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
- Monitor the availability of drugs, medical supplies, and clinical equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention initiatives.
- Prepare clinical and operational reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
- Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council.
- Valid practicing license.
- Previous supervisory experience is an added advantage.
