Clinical Officer (5 Positions)
Role Summary
The Clinical Officer will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services by assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients while promoting quality, ethical, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, examine, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Refer patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection prevention, and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the relevant professional council.
- Relevant clinical experience is an added advantage.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
