As an online Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in cultivating strong relationships with your portfolio of community members and leveraging your knowledge of these individuals to drive value in the community, Your responsibilities will include building relationships, collecting and capturing data to uncover missing information and skills, learning about our talents’ career aspirations and growing their engagement with ALX. This role is a unique blend of analytical thinking, business acumen, and interpersonal skills, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making meaningful connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with talent to identify their career aspiration, special skills and areas of interest.
  • Data Mapping: Collect and process alumni talent data which will be used to provide valuable insights to to foster meaningful relationships. 
  • Strategic Outreach: Initiate contact with talent to discuss learning more about them and communicate why they should engage with our community. Communicate effectively to highlight how they can participate and generate the value they want to see in the community 
  • Data Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all talent details and talent interactions. Ensure the integrity of data within the talent pool.
  • Talent Data Analysis: Gather detailed information about talent and their aspirations to identify potential trends that can be used to make smarter decisions as an organization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential for engaging with talent effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess talent interest, skills and aspirations.
  • Empathetic and adaptable, able to understand the needs of the talent .
  • A proactive and self motivated attitude with a desire to contribute to the business strategy in seeking out opportunities.
  • Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to ensure a great experience for our talent.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to achieve success.
  • Networking abilities to build and maintain relationships with talent.
